ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif paid a surprise visit to the markets of Aabpara and G-10 Markaz inquiring about the prices of edible items in capital city.
The prime minister, on the occasion, mixed freely with the consumers and inquired into the prices of daily used items, including vegetables and fruits.
The people present there highly appreciated his visits. They also lauded the government’s decision of bringing down petroleum product prices. Addressing a gathering of people, the prime minister said that he had come there to look into the impacts of government’s public-friendly measures like a sharp cut in petroleum prices.
He said Pakistan, no doubt, was confronted with serious issues like gas and power shortage but he was resolved to overcome all the issues in the shortest possible period. Both the issues, he said, would be addressed during the present government’s tenure.
