LAHORE – A division bench of Lahore High Court (LHC) extended the interim bail of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Hamza Shehbaz in Ramzan Sugar Mills, Saaf Pani and assets beyond means cases till May 22.
The bench, comprising Justice Malik Shahzad Ahmad Khan and Justice Mirza Viqas Rauf heard the pre-arrest bail petitions on Wednesday.
During today’s hearing, Hamza Shehbaz, along with his lawyers Azam Nazir Tarar, Salman Butt and Amjad Parvaiz appeared before the bench amid tight surveillance.
The NAB officials informed the bench that all papers regarding the case could not be handed over to the PML-N leader under the law.
Hamza appeared before the august court after his bail expired today and sought further extension which was approved.
Hamza Shahbaz is being probed by the National Accountability Bureau in multiple inquiries; Hamza denies any wrongdoing in said inquiries.
