LAHORE –Eid holidays of staff associated with wildlife parks and zoos across Punjab have been canceled in order to ensure security.
Punjab Wildlife and Parks Director Khalid Ayaz Khan said that around 10 officers have been appointed in wildlife parks and zoos during Eid holidays to monitor and ensure security arrangements for tourists and in charge, officers should provide visitors with cool drinking water and shade to relax.
Deputy Director Headquarter Muhammad Naeem Bhatti, Wildlife Lahore region Deputy Director Syed Zafarul Hassan, Deputy Director Wildlife Publicity Amir Masood and other officials attended the meeting.
The notice has been issued to the Lahore Zoo director, assistant directors, curators and district wildlife officers all over the province.
