LAHORE – Pakistan International Airline (PIA) marked the Iqbal Day – the 141st birth anniversary of the national poet –in the Punjab capital on Friday.
The national flag carrier used Twitter to share the images of the event held at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport to honor Allama Muhammad Iqbal’s services to the Muslims living in the subcontinent.

His grandson, Waleed Iqbal was among the dignitaries who cut a cake to celebrate the poet’s birth anniversary.

Allama Muhammad Iqbal was born on November 9th 1877 and had played a crucial role in the success of Pakistan Movement. He died on April 21, 1938.
