PESHAWAR (Online) – A doctor was killed by unidentified armed men in Toda Kalay area of Peshawar early Sunday morning.
The deceased was identified as Dr Zaka Ullah, incharge polio vaccination. The assailants targeted Zaka when he was returning to home from Masjid after offering Fajr prayers.
He sustained serious bullet wounds. The injured was rushed to Lady Reading Hospital, however, he succumbed to injuries before arrival at the hospital.
The body was later shifted to Khyber Teaching Hospital for medico-legal formalities.The body handed was handed over to victim’s family after medico-legal formalities.
