Pakistani singing sensation Atif Aslam turns 35

LAHORE – Renowned Pakistani singer and actor Atif Aslam is celebrating his 35th birthday today (Monday).

The pop star was born in Wazirabad on March 12, 1983, and interestingly has also represented the country in the under 19 cricket team.

His first single was Aadat which went viral and soon after his first massive breakthrough, he came out with his first album Jal Pari in 2004.

Doorie and Meri Kahani are two of his albums which catapulted him to international fame.

Atif Aslam recorded dozens of songs for Bollywood flicks like ‘Prince’, ‘Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahaani’, ‘Race’, ‘Rustom’, ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ etc.

The heartthrob married Sara Bharwana on March 28th, 2013. The couple was praised by everyone as they were ‘Made For Each Other’.

On 7th March 2014 Atif Aslam welcomed baby Ahad Atif as a new and special member of his family.

The ‘Tajdar e Haram’ rendition by the singer in Coke Studio Season 8 was viewed by a staggering 100 million in just a year – making it the first Pakistani item to have been viewed for that amount – consolidating Atif’s position in the thriving music industry of the country.
