ISLAMABAD - Rawalpindi police have arrested a man allegedly involved in sexually assaulting around 30 minors and child pornography.
The suspected man was arrested after a woman lodged FIR with Rawat Police Station against the suspect for sexually assaulting her 13-year old child. She informed the security officials that accused forcefully took her son to a house in Bahria Town, Rawalpindi where he drugged and raped the victim for four days.
The man, who was also deported from Britain and Italy under same charges in the past, filmed the child and threatened to release the video if the victim reported the vile act, the FIR said.
The FIR was lodged under Articles 367(A) (kidnapping or abducting in order to subject person to grievous hurt, slavery, etc.), 377 (unnatural offences), 337(J) (causing hurt by means of a poison) and 342 (punishment for wrongful confinement) of the Pakistan Penal Code, Dawn News reported.
Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Faisal Rana said that the suspect has confessed to raping 30 children in Pakistan, adding that he had alleged connection with dark web where videos of minors are uploaded.
Another policeman told the media outlet that the accused is an educated person as he has a degree of chartered accountant and expert of the dark web.
The suspect is a resident of Islamabad and his family has detached themselves from him, police said.

In the open market, the US dollar was being quoted at 278.4 for buying and 281.4 for selling.
Euro moves down to 299.75 for buying and 302.75 for selling while British Pound hovers around 353.75 for buying, and 357.25 for selling.
UAE Dirham AED remains stable at 75.55 whereas the Saudi Riyal saw minor increase, with new rates at 73.70.
