ANKARA – Foreign Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif, who is presently visiting Turkey, called on Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim in Ankara on Tuesday.
They discussed matters pertaining to regional situation and issues related to bilateral interest.
Earlier on his arrival, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Turkey Syrus Qazi and Turkish officials greeted him at the airport.
Khawaja Asif is also scheduled to call on Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and hold a bilateral meeting with his Turkish counterpart.
The two sides would review bilateral relations and regional issues, including in Afghanistan, grave human rights violations in Occupied Kashmir, atrocities against Rohingya Muslims and other issues of common concern.
