DUBAI – The Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has removed its Regional Sales Manager in Dubai Zeeshan Ahmed from post after receiving multiples complaints of harassing women against him.
A PIA spokesperson told media said the national carrier’s administration has initiated an investigation into the matter following a complaint received from the General Sales Agent, Dnata.
He said multiple complaints have been lodged against the PIA sales manager in Dubai regarding harassment of women.
The spokesperson further stated that Zeeshan had been accused of harassing a female employee of Dnata in Dubai. He said evidence have also been sent to administration via email.
Additionally, a Dubai-based woman has already filed a complaint against Zeeshan with the Federal Ombudsman over harassment, which is currently under review.
The PIA spokesperson said the administration has a zero-tolerance policy towards harassment of women in the workplace. The investigation will proceed, and administrative action will be taken if the allegations are substantiated.
