KARACHI – Sindh Governor-designate Imran Ismail has revealed that Dr. Arif Alvi, a key leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, was being considered for the position of new President of Pakistan.
Ismail stated this while talking to media on Sunday when he also revealed the future plan of the party regarding the building of the Governor House.
He vowed to continue to reside in his personal house, adding that the official work will be carried out from the Governor House.

Dr Arif Aliv has bagged victory in recently held general elections from NA-247 constituency, Karachi, by securing 90,907 votes. He also took oath as the lawmaker for the National Assembly during the inaugural session held on Aug 13 (today).
If the PTI elects Alvi as successor to President Mamnoon Hussain, he will have to resign from the lower house of the parliament.
