PM Nawaz, Tajik President discuss bilateral ties in Murree

MURREE (Staff Report) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and the visiting Tajik President Emomali Rahmon on Friday discussed bilateral ties of Pakistan and Tajikistan here during a meeting in Murree.

They were also briefed on electricity supply project CASA-1000 and road connectivity.

Both leaders also held a one-on-one meeting on the occasion.

Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, Advisor on National Security and Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz and Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Tariq Fatemi were also present in the meeting.

Tajik Foreign Minister and Interior Minister were also accompanying the Tajik President.
