LAHORE – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif offered Eid prayer at his Raiwind residence along with his family members and close relatives, local TV channel reported on Tuesday.
Hassan Nawaz, Hussain Nawaz, Captain (r) Muhammad Safdar, Hamza Shahbaz and Salman Shahbaz were also present on this occasion.
PM Nawaz met with party workers and facilitated them. He said sacrifice gives us this lesson that we should not forget the under-privileged sections of the society.
We have to get ourselves off from the extremist attitudes by keeping ourselves above the personal and factional interests and divert our spirit of sacrifice towards the progress and solidarity of the country.
This is what the basis of Islamic teachings is, he added.
