NEW DELHI (Staff Report) – A flag hoisting ceremony took place at the Pakistan High Commission in India to celebrate the Independence Day.
Pakistan’s High Commissioner to India, Abdul Basit, was chief guest at the ceremony. Addressing the participants, Mr Basit said, “Pakistan wants cordial relations with India.”
He raised the Kashmir issue during the ceremony, “Both the countries should find a solution for Kashmir issue through dialogue.”
