Unauthorized persons barred from meeting Tayyaba at orphanage

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Sweet Homes officials have barred unauthorized visitors from meeting young maid Tayyaba, who was brutally tortured by her employer.

The orphanage issued a notification stating it is a clear violation of the rules imposed by the Supreme Court for any unauthorized person to visit Tayyaba.

The notification also restrained people from taking pictures and making videos of the tortured child.

Following the orders of the apex court, Tayyaba was brought to Pakistan Sweet Homes on a temporary basis, days after she was recovered from an influential family in the capital city.

The case of the alleged torture of the maid caught the media’s attention after she was recovered from the residence of Additional Sessions Judge Raja Khurram Ali Khan.
