RAWALPINDI – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa has installed Lieutenant General Sarfraz Sattar as colonel commandant Armoured Corps, military’s media wing reported on Thursday.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations, the ceremony was held at Armoured Corps Centre Nowshera where outgoing Colonel Commandant Lieutenant General Naveed Mukhtar, a large number of serving and retired officers, soldiers and families of martyrs were present.
COAS appreciated performance of Armoured Corps both in conventional and non-conventional combat.
Earlier upon arrival, COAS laid floral wreath on Shuhada’s monument.
