ISLAMABAD – Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain said that the name of Pakistan would hopefully be excluded from the grey list of Financial Action Task Force (FATF) in September this year, the Radio Pakistan reported.
Talking to a private TV channel, he said the government would fulfil most of the requirements of FATF till May this year.
He said the government is implementing National Action Plan (NAP) in letter and spirit which is being appreciated on the national and international level.
Replying to a question, the minister said opposition leader in the National Assembly Shahbaz Sharif and co-chairman of PPP Asif Ali Zardari were taken fully on board regarding actions against banned outfits in the country.
