Panama Papers: Zardari’s guru Pir Ijaz Shah in Islamabad for NA session

ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) – Pir Ijaz Shah, the spiritual adviser of former president Asif Ali Zardari, has reached the Parliament House to witness the Monday’s session on the Panama leaks controversy.

Talking to media outside the National Assembly building on Monday, Shah said he still prays for his disciple, Asif Ali Zardari, and plans to undertake Umrah in the month of Ramazan.

Pir Ijaz Shah, a well-known figure among political circles, spent most of his time in the Presidency during the PPP government from 2008-13.

Rumor has it the Pakistan People’s Party requested Pir Ijaz to witness the Monday’s proceedings in the National Assembly.
