Panama Leaks: PPP denies formation of fact-finding committee

ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) – The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has rejected reports that party co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari has formed an in-house fact-finding committee to probe allegations stemming from the Panama Leaks.

According to a statement issued by the PPP media cell, the party has already formed a Parliamentary Committee and Legal Committee in this regard and the news about any new committee as reported today by certain media outlets is false.

Earlier, media reports claimed that Zardari constituted a fact-finding committee on the Panama Leaks led by Senator Rehman Malik.
