Firdous Awan joins PTI after leaving PPP
ISLAMABAD – Former information minister and member of Pakistan Peoples Party, Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan, has decided to join Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) unconditionally.

Sialkot-based politician, Awan has been contested elections from constituency NA-111, which is next to the constituency of incumbent Defence Minister Khawaja Asif.

She held a meeting with PTI leader Umar Dar and expressed her willingness to join the PTI unconditionally, and has announced her full support to the party's leadership.

Awan will made an announcement of her formal entry into the party after having a meeting with Imran Khan. During media talks, she said she will accept the decision of party leadership in tickets distribution.
