Zardari, Fazl meet to discuss opposition’s joint strategy against government

ISLAMABAD – Former president and Pakistan Peoples Party Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari met with Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUIF) leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman in Islamabad today (Friday) and discuss to devise a joint strategy against the government.

According to media reports, the two leaders discussed matters of national interest, including the International Monetary Fund’s (IMF) bailout package and mulled over to reach out other political parties in order to unite the opposition against the government.

Both the leaders also discussed a march towards Islamabad after Eid-ul-Fitr to take an effective agenda to the public.
