3.5 million Kashmiris left Indian-held Kashmir in 26 years

ISLAMABAD (APP) – The unabated Indian state terrorism during the last 26 years has forced over 35 thousand Kashmiris to live outside Indian Held Kashmir as migrants.

A report released by the Research Section of Kashmir Media Service in connection with International Migrants Day, observed Friday, revealed that a big number of the Kashmiri migrants lived in Azad Jammu and Kashmir while many of them lived in Pakistan and in the European countries.

The report pointed out that due to the Indian atrocities against the struggling Kashmiris since 1947, over 2.5 million Kashmiri people are living as migrants in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan and United Kingdom (UK).
