PESHAWAR (Web Desk) – At least nine terrorists have been killed in an aerial and ground operation of security forces in Rajgal area of Khyber Agency.
According to the details, Pakistan Army carried out an operation in Khyber Agency Rajgal area, killing nine terrorists while destroying six hideouts along with ammunition and weapons, ISPR said in a statement.
The army offensive is underway in the mountainous terrain of Babar Kachkol, Naray Nao and Tor Sapar areas of Khyber.
The operation against militants is in full swing after the Quetta carnage. Civil-Military leadership of the country agreed to launch combing operations as well to squash terrorism.
Moreover, The Army Chief General Raheel Sharif on Friday visited frontline troops busy in operations along Pak-Afghan border in Khyber Agency.
The Army Chief was given a detailed briefing on the progress of operations and gains consolidated so far.
Talking to troops, he directed enhanced vigilance and pro-active approach to stop any type of movement of terrorists. The Army Chief expressed his satisfaction over the progress of the ongoing operation against violence groups.
