KARACHI (Web Desk) – While the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has recently announced its luxurious premier service, the passengers are suffering from the worst at PIA’s regular flights.
Daily Pakistan spoke with several travelers, as they were coming out of PIA plane at the Karachi airport. They shared the actual situation of PIA flights, dismissing the claims of best services.
Talking to Daily Pakistan, a passenger said “We are sweating like hell, there were no ACs and only lip service was there,” further adding that he will consider traveling through private airlines next time.
Another passenger revealed that the flight was delayed and finally when it reached Karachi, the passengers were made to stay inside the plane for another half hour before they could exit.
“I have been traveling with PIA for last 15 years, this is my worst experience that I have come across with PIA,” said an aged traveler.
Earlier this month, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif inaugurated PIA Premier – the luxury air service of Pakistan Airlines – in Islamabad.
There will be six weekly Premier service flights to London, including three from Islamabad and three from Lahore. Later, with addition of more aircraft, the service would be expanded to other destinations.
The aircraft is equipped with LCD screens and flight entertainment with 250 channels and flat bed service for passengers.
Complimentary limousine service for PIA Premier Business Class customers will be given upon their arrival at Heathrow airport. The service would be available within a radius of 25 km from Heathrow airport.
