PEMRA bans crime reenactment shows

ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) – Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) has imposed ban on television programs showing reenactment of crime scenes.

While addressing a press conference on Friday, PEMRA chairman Absar Alam said the television programs showing reenactment of crime scenes shall be banned from 1st of Ramzan. Strict action will be taken against all those channels who violate the regulations, he added.

PEMRA chairman said that television channels should keep into consideration the norms of the society while telecasting certain programs.
