LAHORE – After a change in his schedule, former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will return to Pakistan on October 24.
According to local media, the former premier will leave for Pakistan on Oct 23 from London.
Earlier, he was set to reach Pakistan on Oct 22 through Pakistan International Airline’s flight PK-758 from London to Lahore.
On October 4, Nawaz reached London to spend time with his wife Kulsoom, who is undergoing treatment for throat cancer.
In the meantime, Nawaz Sharif missed three hearings of the corruption references against him in an accountability court.
The accountability court has indicted Nawaz in three corruption references despite his absence.
Former premier went to London after his wife was diagnosed with lymphoma by British doctors on August 22.
