Zardari to launch Ramadan show

Following the raging success of ‘Pakistan Khappay’ on Bol TV, Asif Ali Zardari has announced plans to host a special segment for the upcoming month of Ramadan. This initiative has caused confusion amongst critics and well-wishers alike, who are curious as to how the PPP co-chairman will contend with the likes of Aamir Liaquat, Fahad Mustafa and (for some reason) Waqar Zaka.

After being away from the eyes of the Pakistani public for some time, speculation is rife regarding the appearance and persona of the former President.

While some believe that he will be smiling unabashedly from a side pose, it is equally possible that he may don a Fez cap in an attempt to impersonate a certain character from Disney’s Aladdin (all doubters may refer to the fact that Aamir Liaqat did this.

There is much speculation regarding the content of this show and it would please every Pakistani if the program focused on Sharjeel Memon’s finances. However, we are likely to receive more ambiguous catch-phrases like ‘Pakistan Khappay’ and ‘Democracy is the best excuse Revenge’.

While Bilawal Bhutto (Zardari?) is expected to make an appearance on the program, his role is not expected to be much more than that of advertising his Spring/Summer ‘Designer Lawn’ Collection.

The leadership of the Peoples party has always displayed a reluctance to show receipts (with Sharjeel Memon only joining an elite club within the PPP) and fiscal details of this project are not yet made public but (as always) it can be assumed that Bol will be paying exactly ten percent.
