LAHORE (Web Desk) – Pakistan team’s Monday practice in Brisbane has been called off in order to have emergency meetings to instill a do-or-die mentality because the next four matches are very crucial for the team’s stay in the World Cup.
The team has already lost its Pool B matches against India and West Indies and they need to to make sure they qualify for the last-eight without having to rely on other team’s results.
“We’ve decided to call off our practice on Monday in Brisbane because the team management wants to stage meeting with players,” a team official told a local media outlet.
“The coaching staff talked to the players throughout the flight from Christchurch to Brisbane; that is how concerned everyone is. Obviously, the players are down after losing back-to-back games and the match against the West Indies was over in the blink of an eye.”
