ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif is embarking upon a three-day visit to Turkey from today to attend the 5th Session of the ‘Pakistan-Turkey High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council.
According to Radio Pakistan, the premier will be accompanied by a high-level delegation consisting of ministers and senior officials.
Together with Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim, the Prime Minister will co-chair the meeting of strategic cooperation to be held in Ankara on Thursday.
A number of Agreements/MoUs are also expected to be signed on the occasion. The two sides will also discuss cooperation in diverse sectors.
Nawaz Sharif would also hold wide-ranging consultations with the Turkish leadership on bilateral, regional and international issues.
During the visit, Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif would be meeting with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
