Railway announces 10 special trains on Eid ul Azha

LAHORE (Staff Report) – Pakistan Railways has announced twenty five percent reduction on the fares of Green Line service between Islamabad and Karachi, for Eid day and next day to Eid.

Meanwhile, the service of ten special trains for Eid ul Azha is being launched from Tuesday, with the departure of special trains from Karachi Cantt to Lahore, Peshawar and Rawalpindi separately.

Railways had already announced ten percent reduction in fares of special Eid trains.

Trains will be operated from Karachi to Lahore via Fais­alabad; from Karachi to Rawalpindi via Sargodha; from Karachi to Peshawar via Lahore; and from Quetta to Rawalpindi via Lahore.

On Sept 22, one train, from Lahore to Karachi, will be operated via Faisalabad, and on Sept 23 one train, from Rawalpindi to Multan via Kot Addu, will be operated. Two trains each will be operated between Rawalpindi and Lahore and between Lahore and Rawalpindi on Sept 23.
