LAHORE – The Lahore High Court (LHC) has been moved to seek a ban on trading of liquor and cancellation of its permits.
A lawyer, Muhammad Aziz submitted the application stating that issuance of permits for liquor and an ineffective ban on trade are causing of the sale of liquor openly in the cities.
Lamenting over the situation, he said that a ban should be imposed on sale of alcohol and issuance of permits in order to “save the future of our youth”.
