Emirates T20 Trophy 2017, Match 2:Peshawar Zalmi beat Durham by 35 runs

DUBAI – Peshawar Zalmi thrashed Durham by 35 runs in the the second match of Emirates Airline Twenty-20 Trophy being played in Dubai here on today (Thursday).

After winning the toss, Zalmi scored 143 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in allotted 20 overs. In reply, Durham were all out at 108 runs.

Emirates Airline Twenty20 is a two-day tournament which will take place in Dubai. ICC Academy in Dubai will host all the matches.

Total of six teams will participate in the T20 tourney which are Peshawar Zalmi, Lahore Qalandars, Lancashire Lightning, Durham Jets, MCC England XI and Birmingham Bears.

In the first match, Lancashire beat Warwickshire by 63 runs.

Where to watch:

TEN Sports will telecast matches live in India and Pakistan. In India, TEN 3 will telecast the matches and Sony LIV will provide the free streaming of Emirates T20 matches.

Players like Ian Bell, Jimmy Anderson, Paul Collingwood, Liam Plunkett and Ben Duckett will participate in the tournament.

According to some reports, Brendon McCullum, Shahid Afridi and Darren Sammy will feature in the tournament as well. Each team will play two matches each and then top two sides from the league stage will face off in the finals on March.
