LAHORE – Former Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) member provincial assembly (MPA) Yasmeen Khan was found dead at her home in Lahore on Saturday.
Khan’s body was recovered by neighbours from his residence in DHA after breaking a door of his house following a strong smell, said police.
The body of the deceased has been sent for post-mortem as part of the investigation. The police suspect the former MPA suffered a heart attack that led to her death. It is believed that the death of Khan happened five or six days ago.
Yasmeen graduated in 2004 from Haleem Institute, Lahore. She served as MPA of Punjab till 2013 after being elected in the 2008 general elections on a seat reserved for women.
