SAHIWAL – A man has allegedly strangled her newly wed daughter to death for demanding the divorce from husband in a village of Thatta Bahadur Singh.
According to sources, the daughter of Hakim Ali, identified as Iram Shahzad was got married to Hifazat Ali since some time before but she returned to her parents home on the second day of her marriage being disgruntled over some matter.
When her husband (Hifazat Ali) came to take her back she refused to go and demanded divorce that enraged her father and he strangled her to death.
Police have registered a case and started an investigation after the arrest of the suspect.
