Ali Jahangir Siddiqui resigns as Pak envoy to US

WASHINGTON – Pakistan’s ambassador to the United States Ali Jehangir Siddiqui on Tuesday resigned from the position.

Siddiqui while talking to a private news channel said that the trust deficit between Pakistan and the US decreased during his tenure.

The outgoing envoy said that the ties between the two countries are heading towards normalization. He added that suspension of the coalition support fund is a separate issue.
