ISLAMABAD – The federal government has slashed rate of customs duty on the import of smartphones from Rs1000 to Rs650 in Budget 2017-18.
On Friday, Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar presented the fifth budget of the incumbent PML-N government with total outlay of Rs 4.778 trillion.
The minister also announced to decrease withholding tax received on mobile phone calls.
