MUMBAI – Bollywood’s legendary star Amitabh Bachchan is all set to appear in a sequel to his 2002 heist thriller Aankhen, directed by Vipul Amrutlal Shah, the film also featured Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, Arjun Rampal and Sushmita Sen.
The sequel will be released after sixteen years of the first part and Big B will once again play the lead.
The forthcoming project will be co-produced by Eros International and Tarun Agarwal. According to the local newspaper As per the latest report on Mumbai Mirror, Amitabh Bachchan has signed the dotted lines for the film which will now be directed by Anees Bazmee.
A source told about the upcoming movie’s detail saying “Amit ji liked the script and has given his nod to the project. Anees has begun prep and will start shooting in 2019. The team is targeting an early 2020 release”.

Chan was recently in India for the shoot of his comedy flick ‘Kung Fu Yoga’ (2016), which also featured Sonu Sood and Disha Patani and now he will be also shooting for his future venture with the great actor of Bollywood Amit Jee.

Aankhen (2002) had an interesting narrative in which Big B played an antagonist who manipulates three blind men (Akshay, Paresh, Arjun) to pull off a bank robbery.
