ISLAMABAD - The Walima ceremony of Pakistan all-rounder Imad Wasim was on Monday (yesterday) held in Islamabad.

The event was attended by Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor, former finance minister Asad Umar, Senator Faisal Javed Khan, Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Political Affairs Naeem ul Haque, Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Capital Development Authority (CDA) Affairs Ali Nawaz Awan, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Babar Awan, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Managing Director Wasim Khan and leg-spinner Yasir Shah among others.

The lovely couple adored traditional wedding dresses [Lehnga and Sherwani] at their Walima.

“Thank you everyone who came tonight, much appreciated....had a really great time this evening,” Imad wrote on Twitter afterwards.

Earlier, On Saturday, in a simple Nikah ceremony, Wasim had tied the knot with the love his life Sanniya Ashfaq in Islamabad.

The ceremony, held at Faisal mosque in Islamabad, was attended by close family and friends. The bride and groom looked beautiful as they chose to dress in classic white.
