Tahirul Qadri to arrive in Lahore on Monday

LAHORE (Web Desk) – Pakistan Awami Tehreek chief (PAT) Tahir ul Qadri is expected to arrive in Lahore on Monday morning, local media reported on Sunday.

According to reports, PAT chief will reach the airport in Lahore at 7:20 am, where he will be escorted to his residence in Model Town alongside his party workers.

Dr Qadri had left Pakistan for United States last year on December 3, citing ill health as the reason for his departure.

“I will continue to fulfil my commitment until my last breath,” the PAT chief had said.

Eaelier, Punjab government on Saturday announced it will provide foolproof security to Dr Tahirul Qadri upon return to the country.

Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah said that Qadri was provided with 6 vehicles of elite force upon return to the country in the past as well, adding that he will be provided ‘adequate’ security this time as well.
