ISLAMABAD – The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on Friday extended, for the third tia me, deadline for filing income tax returns for fifteen 15 till December 15, 2018.
“The date for filing returns of total income and statement of final taxation which were due on 31st August and extended up to 30th November is hereby further extended to 15th December,” said a notification issued by the revenue body.
The notification said that “In exercise of the powers conferred under section 214A of Income Tax Ordinance, the FBR is pleased to extend date of filing income tax return/statements for the tax year 2018”.
“The date for filing of Returns of Total Income and Statements of final taxation for companies, individuals and association of persons which were due on 30th September, 2018 and extended upto 30th November is here extended to 15th December,” said the notification.
