LAHORE – Hassan Sheheryar Yasin, known as HSY, He has become one of Pakistan’s most recognized fashion labels and employs over 350 people and six stores internationally (including Dubai), with the flagship housed in Lahore.
In 2003, Karachi-based Diva Magazine placed Yasin on the cover of their “Most Powerful People” issue and as one of their 10 “Faces of the Year”.Pakistan’s acclaimed designer HSY is adding his part for a noble cause with acclaimed Scottish brand Harris Tweed.

Yasin and Scottish fashion brand Harris Tweed are coming up with a new couture collection ‘Shah’. The collection will be displayed at a solo show at Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum in Scotland on 30th November.
Telling about the show, Hassan Sheheryar Yasin told a daily publication that “I am Extremely exultant to announce this collaboration with the prestigious Harris Tweed, a first for any Pakistani fashion brand. Thank you UK Medical Aid to Pakistan for this initiative and we hope raises both awareness funds for the deserving through this campaign.”
The show is part of HSY’s membership of the UK Association of Medical Aid to Pakistan helping to fundraise for the charity at an exclusive gala dinner. All funds raised will be going to the Medical Aid Pakistan.
In addition, to support the Linda Norgrove Foundation in Afghanistan, UK Medical Aid to Pakistan will be raising funds for three main projects; The provision of clean drinking water; Student Bursaries for Medical qualifications; And treatment for the prevention of Hepatitis B and C.
The creative director of Harris Tweed Hebrides, Mark Hogarth shared his thoughts for the upcoming charity show saying “Harris Tweed Hebrides welcomes the opportunity to work with the internationally acclaimed design Hassan SheheryarYasin on a truly unique collection of gowns which will marry the best of Scottish textiles and Pakistani design.
