NEW DELHI – A shocking video showing a Hindu extremist brutally torturing a kidnapped young Muslim boy for allegedly sharing a ‘blasphemous’ meme has emerged.
The young Muslim boy can be seen enduring the ordeal at the hands of Deepak Sharma, a notorious Hindu extremist who has been openly making video statements against the Muslim minority in India.
The video of the purported incident which has been since widely circulated comes amid increasing violence being carried out by Hindu vigilante groups enraged over the treatment of cows – which they consider sacred.
While the video has gone viral on social media, there is almost no coverage of it on mainstream Indian media.
