ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Three months extension has been given to Tax Reforms Commission to complete its task.
The approval was given at a meeting chaired by Finance Minister Ishaq Dar in Islamabad.
The meeting was informed that most of the areas have been covered barring a few sales tax and customs-related issues.
The meeting considered developing of a foolproof mechanism to check cross-border smuggling.
The Minister asked the Chairman of the Commission to prioritize recommendations to ensure effective implementation.
