Imran Khan to protest against ECP at D-Chowk

ISLAMABAD (Online) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan will hold a public rally at D-Chowk on September 4 as a warm up for the October 4 sit-in outside the office of the Election Commission Office.

According to a PTI’s core committee member who requested anonymity, the party is working on a plan to gather a maximum number of people on October 4 to press the ECP members to step down.

The September 4 rally is part of the strategy, the PTI leader said.

According to him, the sit-in outside the ECP office will continue unless the ECP members resign.

“The PTI central leadership has issued instructions to party leaders to ensure participation of party workers in large number on September 4.”
