Hashmi wants govt to appoint Imran Khan as PCB chairman

MULTAN (Web Desk) – It might be a marriage of convenience that veteran politician Javed Hashmi, who had parted ways with Imran Khan, wants the government to appoint the cricketer turned politician as Pakistan Cricket Board chief.
Former PTI president, while talking to reporters, pleaded Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to take measures to restore the glory of Pakistan cricket team. Imran Khan is the man who can run this institution in a good way, he said.
He went on to say that Najam Sethi knows nothing about cricket and should not have joined PCB.
He criticized cricket team chief selector Moin Khan over his controversial visit to casino which triggered a debate in Pakistan.
“Why did he need to go to a casino for dining?”, he questioned.
