ARAR (Web Desk) – A Saudi prisoner swallowed 14 lighters so he will be taken to hospital and kept there away from prison, the Emirates247 reported on Tuesday.

The unnamed prisoner was rushed to King Saud Medical City in the Northern town of Arar after swallowing the lighters at prison, according to the Arabic language daily Sabq.

“A prisoner was admitted to hospital after swallowing 14 lighters so he will be kept in hospital instead of prison,” the newspaper said. However, it did not elaborate on the prisoner’s condition or mention whether he was still at hospital or taken back to jail.
