ILS installed at Lahore Airport for safe landing during fog

LAHORE (Staff Report) – Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif Saturday opened Instrument Landing System (ILS) Cat-3 B at Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore.

This system would help air-crafts while landing on a runway at the time of thick fog, rain or blowing snow.

The CM was given briefing about the nature of working of the new system.

Besides, talking to newsmen prior to his departure for UK, he said that Pakistan and Briton enjoy the best friendly and economic relations.

He said that his visit will further boost the mutual relations between the two countries.

During the visit, he will meet the UK authorities and Heads of various government departments and institutions.
