Man lands in jail for changing Facebook password

ABU DHABI (Web Desk) – A court in United Arab Emirates (UAE) has sentenced a man to one month in prison on charges of changing his company’s Facebook password without consent.

The company in Abu Dhabi complained to authorities after it found that the password was changed and no other employee could log into its Facebook page expect the employee who did that.

The court convicted the unnamed employee in line with the 2012 law on combating IT crimes, Emirates247 reported.
