NEW DELHI (Staff Report) – A Muslim family in India set an example that really helps change the minds of at least a handful, Being Indian Channel reported on Tuesday.
Muslim family of Delhi that raised a Hindu child who was an orphan from Nepal. They also got him married off to a Hindu girl and carried out all the rituals in a traditional Hindu fashion.
The bride’s mother says, “We never had an issues with regards to them (the groom’s family) being Muslim or Hindu. In fact, we think this will encourage and spread love between two communities”
