KARACHI (Staff Report) – Karachi Corps Commander Lt-General Naveed Mukhtar Thursday said that there no ambiguity on completion of targeted operation in Karachi and that Sindh Rangers have played a key role to restore pace in the port city.
Addressing the passing out parade at Rangers Training Centre and School, the military commander said that every personnel of Rangers was identity of the institution, hence everybody must act responsibly. Sindh Rangers are central character of Karachi operation, which will be completed at any cost, he said.
Naveed Mukhtar further added that Rangers were highly professional paramilitary force of Pakistan and credit for improvement of law and order situation in Karachi goes to Rangers.
The targeted operation in Karachi was completely apolitical and free from any kind of pressure, he said.
On the occasion he also paid rich tribute to the people of Karachi who stood by the forces for operation. The restoration of people’s confidence is yet another great achievement of the operation he said.
He urged Karachittes to continue their support for the paramilitary force saying that there was lot of work yet to be done and it was only possible with their support.
