LAHORE (Web Desk) – Zimbabwe cricket union has expressed an interest in touring Pakistan later this year, the media reports said.
Naveed Akram Cheema, who also functioning as Pakistan cricket team manager, confirmed the breakthrough in negotiations with the chief executive of Zimbabwe cricket union, according to the reports.
Cheema claimed that Zimbabwe is keen to play reciprocal ODI series with Pakistan and the team may visit Pakistan in May 2015.
Pakistan is deprived of international cricket since March 2009, when armed militants attacked the Sri Lanka cricket team in Lahore and killed as many as 6 policemen and injured few visiting players as well.
